The project took place in August 2010 over an eight day period. There were approximately 20 participants engaged in art based workshops.
A professional artist worked with the young people to design and produce a static 3D wall mural made from recycled materials, discussing, designing and extending the participants knowledge on current recycling issues in the community and wider.
The activities delivered also included jewellery making and T-shirt designing, balanced with team games and social networking. The project ended with a video recorded fashion show, where everyone wore their designs along the cat walk.
The participants were drawn from the local community and the children in need services. The project was funded by Awards for All and met all its aims and outcomes expressed in the original application.
