St Albans Community Centre is funded by:

Children In NeedBBC Children in Need provide grants to projects in the UK which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged. They are local to people in all corners of the UK and support small and large organisations which empower children and extend their life choices.

Their grant programmes are open all year round for applications. They allocate small grants awards five times a year and main grants three times a year.

Sandwell CouncilSandwell Metropolitan Borough Council was created in 1974 to administer the newly formed Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell, in the West Midlands county of England.

The council offices are located at the Council House in the heart of Oldbury. Sandwell is divided into 24 Wards and is represented by 72 ward councillors. Elections to the council take place in three out of every four years, with one-third of the seats being contested at each election.

Harbourne Parish LandsHarborne Parish Lands Charity is a friendly local charity where community involvement is valued. Their work is to help people who are in need and who live in the ancient parish of Harborne.

To do this well Parish Lands have to have strong links with the areas which they serve. The charity has dedicated staff and trustees who are committed to giving a professional service with the minimum of fuss.

LOTTERYBIG is responsible for distributing £600 million each year (40 per cent) of all the money raised for good causes by the National Lottery.

This totals around £6 billion since 2004. Every year BIG gives out millions of pounds from the National Lottery to good causes. The money goes to community groups and projects that improve health, education and the environment.…………………………….

WACADBURYlogo5The William A Cadbury Charitable Trust founded in 1923 by William Cadbury is a Birmingham based grant making charity which provides funding to other charitable organisations working principally in the West Midlands.

William Cadbury was followed as chairman by two of his sons, John (1905-1985) then Brandon (1915-2011) who was in turn succeeded in 2000 by the present chairman, William’s granddaughter Sarah Stafford.

Awards 4 All

Awards for All is a Lottery grants programme that funds small, community-based projects across the UK. Awards for All England prides itself on a pledge to provide ‘A quick and easy way to get small Lottery grants of between £300 and £10,000’.
