Pre-School Staff

Samantha Oakley – Pre-School Manager
(Level 6 Qualified)

Samantha has been with St Albans since January 2017.  She has a Level 6 qualification with early years teaching status (EYT) and a degree in integrated childhood studies. She holds a vast experience over the past 13 years of working in early years and has undertaken extensive training in safeguarding children, supporting children with additional needs, first aid, mentoring and inclusion.

Maninder Kullar (Nikki) – Deputy Manager
(Level 3 in Childcare, Education and Management)

Nikki joined St Albans Pre-school in January 2008 and is the settings Behaviour Co-ordinator, Enco Deputy, Child Protection Officer, student mentor and speech and language co-ordinator.

Nikki offers bi-lingual support to the children and families accessing the pre-school.

Satvinder Phull – Pre-school Assistant
(Level 3 in Childcare and Education)

Satvinder joined St Albans Pre-School in June 2011 and works one-to-one with children with additional needs. Satvinder is also the settings SENDco, Fire Marshall Deputy and Health and Safety co-ordinator.

Satvinder offers bi-lingual support to families in need of this type of assistance.

Sabina Sierzega-Przychodzien – Pre-school Assistant
(Level 2 in Learning Support )

Sabina joined St Albans pre-school in October 2015 and is currently working towards her level 3 Early Years Educator with our training provider Paragon.

Sabina is the settings European Language Support worker. Sabina is the Enco and the Communication and language co-ordinator.

Emma Martin – Pre-school Assistant
(Level 3 in Childcare and Education)

Emma joined St Albans pre-school in September 2016.

Emma is the settings creative co-ordinator, and the Health and Safety deputy.

Rachel Roberts – Pre-school Assistant
Level 3 in Childcare and Education)

Rachel joined St Albans Pre-school in September 2016.

Rachel is the settings SENDco deputy and the Fire Marshall co-ordinator.

Samantha Sharman – Pre-school Assistant
Level 3 Qualified)

Sam joined us in March 2017 and has took on the support roles for communication and language co-ordinator.  She also has the responsibility of being the student mentor and behaviour support.  Sam works closely with parents to support our children that need advice and strategies to deal with challenging behaviour.

Priya Rai – Apprentice Pre-school Assistant

Priya joined us in April 2017 and can speak a number of languages including Romanian and French.

She offers bi lingual support to the children and families who attend St Albans and is currently working towards a qualification Childrens and young peoples workforce level 2.
