Welcome to St Albans Community Association

Since opening our doors in 1984 — thanks to the vision and dedication of Pat Ryan, Beryl Chandler, and Barbara Bright — we’ve been proudly serving the people of Sandwell. What began as a small community initiative has grown into a vibrant hub, offering a wide range of services that make a real difference in people’s lives.

At St Albans, every visitor is greeted with a warm, personal welcome. We’re committed to supporting our local residents with activities and services that enhance wellbeing, build connection, and strengthen our community.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who helps make our work possible — from local authority funding and individual grants to kind donations and service contributions.

"It’s a very nice centre, I like coming here. The mini bus picks me up from my home and takes me back to my home, the food is so nice. I have met so many lovely people here they are all very friendly" ~ BKK
