Our much needed Caring in a Crisis project is funded by The Henry Smith Charitable Trust. Our project aims to identify where people need help and support to access their welfare rights, benefit entitlements and support them through the claiming process. The project supports people to make claims for Attendance Allowance, Personal Independence Payments (PIP), Housing and Council Tax Benefits and much more.
If you don’t have enough money to live on, we may be able to help you to explore getting help to afford essentials like bills and food. This includes the Household Support Fund and cost of living payments, even you are working.
The Service is open to all Sandwell residents, appointments are offered on a personal, face-to-face basis and are held at St Albans Community Centre, five days a week Monday to Friday.
