Pirate Day

What a legendary day! Our Pirate Day pub crawl and treasure hunt on the 21st June 2025 was far more than an excuse to don eye patches and shout “Arrr!”—it was a full-blown celebration of community, generosity, and pure joy. From the first toast to the final “Yo-ho-ho,” every pub stop overflowed with laughter, camaraderie, and mischievous pirate spirit.

But behind the scenes of all that fun were the real heroes: the volunteers who poured months of planning, passion, and heart into making this event a reality. Trevor, Gilly, and Neil, your tireless dedication, creativity, and sheer determination transformed a wild idea into an unforgettable experience. You didn’t just organise an event—you built a moment of magic that brought people together and made a real difference.

Thanks to your efforts, we raised funds for two incredible causes—St Albans Community Association and The British Heart Foundation—and reminded everyone of the power of community when it’s driven by purpose and joy.

To everyone who dressed up, danced, donated, and dove headfirst into the pirate madness: thank you. You brought the energy, the spirit, and the heart. But to the volunteers who made it all possible—you are the wind in our sails, and we salute you.

This was more than a pub crawl. It was proof that when good-hearted pirates come together, they can chart a course toward something truly extraordinary.
